OLD DOORS

I am passionate about painting doors, in particular old French wooden gates. As I stand before these doors, I feel a blend of excitement and apprehension, eager to discover what awaits just beyond them. I love to imagine a rich tapestry of memories waiting to be unraveled behind every door. Each threshold captivates me, representing both cherished stories from the past and exciting new beginnings. I am fascinated by the heavy wood that creaks in protest, whispering secrets of long-forgotten tales, while the promise of new adventures lingers in the air, teasing my imagination. Is the door closed, keeping the past locked away, or is it on the brink of swinging open, inviting us to step into the unknown? The intrigue lies in the moments between the past and the future, where every choice we make leads us down a different path. As we stand before these doors, we are reminded that every ending is merely a prologue to something yet unwritten, urging us to take that leap and discover what awaits on the other side.

STREET LAMPS

My passion for painting street lamps in watercolor stems from their enchanting presence as silent sentinels that light our paths in the twilight. Each brushstroke attempts to capture their gentle glow, which offers a comforting embrace to those wandering beneath. I am drawn to the way these lamps evoke a sense of mystery, casting elongated shadows that hint at secrets hidden within the night. Through my art, I strive to illuminate the familiar and the forgotten, portraying the stories that linger in the dark. Each flicker of light is a reminder of the beauty found in both clarity and obscurity, inspiring me to explore the delicate balance between what is seen and what remains in shadow. With each painting, I aspire to invite viewers to discover the magic and depth of these beloved guardians of the night.
